The world of the church is becoming increasingly aware that something is missing, that its effectiveness is in question, that the lost and hurting world is not being impacted as Christ intended.  Many leaders are becoming increasingly interested in how to transform their ministry from sustainable to growing, from mechanistic to generative. Generative ministries are those that grow and multiply, producing health and fruitfulness.  They use a few basic principles to yield varied and unpredictable patterns of ministry, as God leads. 

Several times throughout history we have seen the impact of generative growth - movements which defied the normal understanding of what is possible.  These generative movements grew without bounds across geography, cultures, and time.  We in Spiritual Leadership Inc. (SLI), believe we are seeing the beginning of a new leadership movement where effective, rapidly multiplying teams increase the quantity and quality of ministry and also form the ideal environment for Spiritual Growth.  We have learned to combine Leadership Principles with Spiritual Principles and have discovered an embodiment of Spiritual Leadership that facilitates Generative Ministries.

We started our journey as secular business leaders employing our gifts across a spectrum from entrepreneurial startups to multinational Fortune 500 companies.  In the 90s we co-developed a spiritual development model that helped us recognize that our leadership gifts, passions, and experiences were a part of God’s plan, and that we were being called to follow Jesus along a new journey of helping His church be successful.  Since SLI started in 2000, we have been practicing a process called the Leadership Incubator across a spectrum of ministries.  The model has proven to be successful cross-culturally, as we have adapted the process to a variety of small,  large, multi-ethnic, ecumenical, and international settings.  We have worked with children’s ministry teams, local churches, groups of clergy, and the denominational church.

We at SLI believe we are at the beginning of a very special season in which we will see God’s glory unfolding in marvelous ways.

Our Services are for leaders interested in their ministry becoming healthy, generative and moving to a new level of impact.  Each of our services includes a Walk Alongside process that will develop leaders or groups of leaders into teams that grow spiritually, learn continuously, and lead processes that produce fruit.
